The Makita GEC01PL is a true gas-replacement power cutter, delivering the performance of a 75.6cc gas saw with the convenience and efficiency of the 80V max (40V max X2) XGT® cordless system. This 14-inch saw provides a massive 5-inch cutting depth in a single pass, making it ideal for heavy-duty masonry and metal applications. Driven by a brushless motor that reaches 5,300 RPM, the GEC01PL cuts up to 25% faster than equivalent gas models with zero emissions and significantly lower noise and vibration.

Advanced safety features include Active Feedback-sensing Technology (AFT®) to stop the motor if the wheel is forced to bind, and an electric brake for maximum productivity. With an integrated water delivery system for OSHA Table 1 compliance and a rugged design built for harsh jobsite conditions, this kit provides a clean, powerful solution for both indoor and outdoor demolition.
